Amy & Brandon Get Hitched

Hello! It's been a while since I've last updated the blog, so naturally I thought I'd come back with a bang....my FIRST WEDDING!! I was ecstatic when Amy and Brandon asked me to shoot their wedding. I've known Amy for years, all the way back to when I was in high school and she was at UD with my brother! I was thrilled for her when she met the man of her dreams, Brandon. They are two peas in a pod. Two great people coming together to live one stellar life as husband and wife. Congrats to you both and THANK YOU for letting me be apart of this special day! :)

Sister helping sister with the family pearls :)

Gorgeous necklace....really portraying the whole "less is more"

Introducing: Baby Anna

I am so excited to share these photos! I used to work with Susan at my old company in Chicago and was so happy when she asked me to take her newborn photos! Her and her husband just had their first child, Anna a few weeks ago and isn't she the cutest?! She was a week old when we took these (just about 4 weeks old now) and I couldn't believe how well she did. Slept through basically the whole session :) Thank you, Susan for letting me be apart of this wonderful experience!!

Sweet baby Anna :)

"A" for Anna!

Nothing like a father-daugther moment :)

Susan, you are an amazing mother!

This is one lucky baby girl!

Baby Natalie

I got the wonderful pleasure to take Natalie's 4 month old pictures! Natalie is the product of some pretty great people. I met Laura and Pat through my sister at UD. Go Flyers!! They are a great couple and their daughter Natalie is so precious! Once you got her laughing she was just all smiles. I enjoyed photographing them and maybe one day in the future it will happen again, even if they are moving to Michigan! Good luck on your move Laura and Pat! Natalie is lucky to have wonderful parents like you :)

Mother and Daughter :)

Look at that face!!

Smooches!!

My New Home...The Queen City

Below are just a few pictures that I took on my first weekend in my new home, Cincinnati, OH! I'm really liking the b&w bridge....might have to print that and hang it in my bedroom :)

Great American Ball Park

From across the river in Convington, KY

The bridge over the Ohio River from Kentucky to Ohio....isn't that gorgeous? (look closely and you can see what may look like as an "unidentified flying object" above the center of the bridge... weirddddd).

Different angle of the Great American Ballpark... yeah Reds!

Black and white bridge :)

Up at Devou Park in KY to get all of Cincy.... my new home!

Michael's a Senior!

Below are pictures of a great guy, my cousin Michael. Look at that stud! I was so excited to take his Senior pictures a few weekends ago. I haven't done Senior pictures before so this was really exciting for me. We found some great locations and I mean truthfully, with a face like that, you just can't get a bad image :) Love ya cuz!

Go UD! I secretly wish I still went there!

I love all the colors in this photo below!

The car? My uncle's (Michael's dad) Prowler. I love that car... got to drive it on my 16th birthday! ;)

This photo was Michael's idea. And I love it. Great thinking, Michael!

Finn and Family

I have been so excited to blog these photos!! Introducing the newest member to our family, Finley!! He is a gem and a half :) I was thrilled when my cousin Adam and his wife Michaelyn asked me to take some newborn shots of Finn. They are some of the kindest people you'll ever know. You know what I'm talking about. The kind of people that make you feel like everything you say is important and are so genuine in the way they speak about their family and friends. Well that's Adam and Mickey. And how luck is Finn to be born into this fun-loving family. Their little girl, Shelby is just a ball of fun. She was so cute with Finn. Stepping into the big sister role quite nicely I might add. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did when I took them. And of course, big big hugs to Adam for serving our country! (Hence the army gear in the photos!)

Baby's bum in the air.... I mean, come on. Could that be any cuter??

Adam and his little sergeant :)

In reality, Finn is slightly big for the helmet, but how can you resist the urge to try it? And the fact that Finn is looking right up at Adam, that's just a precious father-son moment!

Mickey, you're gorgeous!

Your love for Finn is so evident in this photo. This kid is a lucky one :)

See? Settling into the big sister role just perfectly :)
