Michael's a Senior!

Below are pictures of a great guy, my cousin Michael. Look at that stud! I was so excited to take his Senior pictures a few weekends ago. I haven't done Senior pictures before so this was really exciting for me. We found some great locations and I mean truthfully, with a face like that, you just can't get a bad image :) Love ya cuz!

Finn and Family

I have been so excited to blog these photos!! Introducing the newest member to our family, Finley!! He is a gem and a half :) I was thrilled when my cousin Adam and his wife Michaelyn asked me to take some newborn shots of Finn. They are some of the kindest people you'll ever know. You know what I'm talking about. The kind of people that make you feel like everything you say is important and are so genuine in the way they speak about their family and friends. Well that's Adam and Mickey. And how luck is Finn to be born into this fun-loving family. Their little girl, Shelby is just a ball of fun. She was so cute with Finn. Stepping into the big sister role quite nicely I might add. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did when I took them. And of course, big big hugs to Adam for serving our country! (Hence the army gear in the photos!)

Gettin' Personal

This post is just some pictures I have recently taken and wanted to share. The top 3 pictures are wonderful and delicious treats my mother and aunts made for my cousin's baby shower :) The rest are of the pretty nature that I get to see on my way to and at work. And of course the last one is my beautiful God-daughter! Isn't she just the cutest! Enjoy :)

Hunt Family Kids

I had the pleasure of photographing these three lovely girls over Memorial Day weekend. They were so fun to photograph! Full of energy and so cooperative, which is sometimes to difficult to get with young kids. They even had ideas for pictures! If it wasn't 90 degrees I think they older ones could have been out there for hours finding different spots and positions for photos. Thank you Jodi and Greg for asking me to capture your family! What fun, loving girls you have! :)

Since Reagan wasn't really having the whole "I'm going to sit and smile for my one year old photos" we had to improvise and set her away from the sisters... I think this is a good way of 

focusing on just her :)

Lake Lorelei

Last weekend we went to my good friend's lake house at Lake Lorelei. As we roasted marshmellows for S'mores and drank coffee on the dock the next morning, I couldn't help but capture the beautifulness of the lake! We've been going there since we were young-eons in elementary school and being there brought back so many memories! Alway great fun at Lake Lorelei :)

Parks Family!

Meet the Parks! Or as I like to call them, my family :) My cousin Matt and his lovely wife, Katie have two beautiful children, Lily and Charlie. I feel lucky to have gotten the opportunity to take some family photos for them over the weekend. The best part is, we went back to the place where they got married. The gazebo? Where Katie and Matt stood together almost 5 years ago and vowed to be together forever :) The area was great! What a beautiful lot. Lots of greenery and space to move around. This was my first experience shooting two young children and I have to say, to all you mothers and fathers out there, I sure do give you a lot of credit. Those kids have energy! They were so cute though. Charlie just wanted to explore and Lily loved picking flowers :) Big thanks to Grandma Mary for standing behind me looking a little crazy to get the kids to smile! And of course, happy 1st birthday, Charlie!!

And then there was three...

There is so much love between these three. It's so evident in these photos. The happiness that I got to witness between Janah and Duane was so wonderful. They couldn't be more excited about having Leo in their lives and I wish them nothing but the best on their new adventure as parents. Big hugs to all of you!! I can't wait to watch Leo grow up in this amazing family :)
